従来の労働組合の枠組みでは、新しい働き方をする人の労働環境を守れない。
公務員
日本の公務員は、例えば警察や消防職員がストライキをすることは禁止されており、いわゆる労働組合は結成できない。

I have two reasons to support my opinion.
Firstly, Japanese companies have unique employment system.

Actually, during the recent coronavirus pandemic, many companies went bankrupt.
The chairman of Toyota also stated that it has become difficult to maintain such system.
Labor unions have traditionally worked under the assumption of lifetime employment.
If lifetime employment is not guaranteed in the future, it is better to build a career with job changes in mind.
The reliance on labor unions is less than it used to be.
Secondly, the importance of labor unions is declining due to the advancements of technologies.
With the advent of the Internet and social medias, unfair treatment of workers will soon be featured in the news.
Also, people can find temporary jobs with their mobile phones like Uber eats delivery people are doing.
However traditional labor unions cannot protect such people like freelancers or gig workers.
Having labor unions is not a goal.
We should think about the essence of labor unions and what is really necessary for workers.
In fact, there are companies like Nintendo that have high employee satisfaction without labor unions.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that labor unions are not necessary in the modern workplace.
